Ram Charan Teja Konidala (Telugu: రామ్ చరణ్) is an Indian film actor. He is the son of Telugu actor Chiranjeevi. He made his debut as lead actor with the film Chirutha in 2007. He currently serves on the board of directors for MAA_TV.[2] He was the brand ambassador for Pepsi and Airtel in Andhra Pradesh for sometime. Now he is the brand ambassador for Tata DoCoMo for Andhra region.[3][4][5]
Coming from a family long associated with Telugu cinema, Ram Charan is the grandson of veteran comedian Allu Rama Lingaiah. Nephew of actor Pawan Kalyan, producer Nagendra Babu and cousin to fellow actor Allu Arjun.

The movie is in production phase and producers are planning to release the movie by the end of this year. Tamannaah Bhatia will be the female lead.[9][10]

Ram Charan Tej, also known as Cherry, was born on 27 March 1985 in Tanjavur to actor Chiranjeevi and Smt. Surekha. He has two sisters, Sushmita and Srija. Ram Charan made his film debut in 2007 with Chirutha, which was directed by Puri Jagannadh. The movie showed a good performance at the box office. Charan's performance was well-received and eventually received Filmfare Best Male Debut (South) and Nandi Special Jury Award for the role. His second film, S. S. Rajamouli's Magadheera (2009), emerged a critical as well as huge commercial success.[6][7] This film broke all records and ran for an uninterrupted 300 plus days, and became the highest grossing Telugu film earning around 87 crore.
